Frequently Asked Questions

What is the mission of Compassion for Others (CFO Ministries)?

The mission of Compassion for Others is to help improve the quality of life for those disadvantaged and in need.  Our purpose is founded upon the biblical scripture in Matthew 22:37-40.  In this passage we are instructed, to first, love the Lord and then, to love your neighbor as we do ourselves.  Our lives should reflect the love of Christ, who lives in the hearts of every believer.

Western North Carolina Flood Relief

Donations received by Compassion for Others for WNCFR will provide direct support and assistance to families recovering from the aftereffects of the storm.  Some families have experienced tremendous loss.  Compassion for Others will travel to various areas to meet families where they are.  We will prayerfully consider how to best serve.  Many CFO services provided will  occur as the travel conditions to areas improve.  We understand needs will continue for a long period of time and that some families live in areas difficult to access.  When considering a gift, may we suggest gifts in monetary form. These will be most helpful as we review the needs for each family CFO serves.  Donations to CFO Ministries are tax-deductible, and 100% of the gift received will serve needs in WNC. You may mail your gift to the address shown at the bottom of this web page or by the use of the link directing you to PayPal.
