Matthew 22:37-40 teaches us that we are to "Love the Lord with all of our heart, with all of our soul and all of our mind" and we are also to "love our neighbor as ourselves ..."
Compassion for Others (CFO Ministries) purpose is to follow our Lord's command by serving others, and especially those in need. The mission of CFO is to be the hands and feet of Christ as we reach out to help those in need and as we seek to improve the quality of their lives.
When we serve our fellow man with compassionate hearts our efforts will then show the love that Christ has shown for us and He will receive all of the honor.
Since 2010, CFO Ministries has sought to demonstrate a servant heart by helping others, especially those in need. CFO provides the essential items we all need to maintain our daily lives. CFO has had the privilege to serve children living in group homes; those receiving Alzheimer's and residential care; individuals experiencing unemployment; individuals having medical needs; in our homeless communities; and in other areas where there is an apparent need. CFO has served primarily in areas of North and South Carolina. In 2019, CFO was granted an opportunity to serve "our neighbors" living in some of the poorest areas of Honduras. CFO is an all-volunteer organization and all donation gifts to this nonprofit are used for committed projects.
