Matthew 22:37-40 teaches us that we are to "Love the Lord with all of our heart, with all of our soul and all of our mind" and also that we are to "love our neighbor as ourselves ..."
The mission statement of Compassion for Others (CFO Ministries) is to follow our Lord's command and to serve as a "neighbor" to others, and especially to those in need. Our purpose is to become the hands and feet of Christ by reaching out and searching for ways to enrich the quality of their lives. Our belief is that when we serve our fellow man with compassionate hearts then our efforts will show the love that Christ has shown to each of us and He will receive all of the honor.
Since 2010, CFO Ministries has sought to demonstrate a servant's heart. This human services nonprofit has enjoyed the privilege to serve in our local community, in greater North and South Carolina, and in 2019 an opportunity was extended for CFO Ministries to serve in Honduras. Some of those we have reached out to serve have been from our homeless community, a local children's home and many individuals facing extreme hardships. It is our believe when we reach out to others we are showing the caring and loving hearts that we have been called to display.
Located in Charlotte, NC, USA, and registered as a 501(c)(3) human services nonprofit, donations to CFO Ministries are tax exempt as permitted by IRS guidelines.
