Matthew 22:37-40 teaches us that we are to "Love the Lord with all of our heart, with all of our soul and all of our mind" and we are also to "love our neighbor as ourselves ..."
The mission and purpose of Compassion for Others is to follow our Lord's command by serving others and especially those in need. CFO seeks to be the hands and feet of Christ as we reach out to help and provide encourage. We want to display servant hearts seeking to make a difference for others.
When we serve our fellow man with a compassionate heart our efforts will then show the love that Christ has shown for each of us. We will give Him all of the honor.
