Compassion for Others

Compassion for OthersCompassion for OthersCompassion for Others

Displaying servant hearts.  Seeking to make a difference.

Compassion is when we ....

Love, finding joy and happiness living together, finding true friendship, helping each other

Reach Out

When we recognize others are in need our heartfelt response should be to reach out and offer help.  Showing love and kindness to our neighbors will always be our best response.

Sharing hope, being an inspiration in someones life and letting them know that hope does exist.

Share Hope

Life is so fragile.  Be the inspiration in someone's life today.  Let others know you care and share with them the message of hope. This promise makes each day brighter.

Sharing God's love with others by sharing His joy in our hearts. It begins with each of us.

Bring Joy

God has shown us His way.  Each of us can bring joy into the lives of others by sharing the joy we ourselves experience.  This joy creates the opportunity for us to make our world a better place.  Sharing the Message begins with each of us.

A Note from our Director

Be a Blessing to Others!

Dear Friends,

Thank you for visiting the website of Compassion for Others.  This ministry's heart and soul is built upon showing our love toward God and demonstrating our love to others.

Every day you and I see opportunities where we can inspire someone and brighten their day.   We can start simply by sharing our smile or a kind word to encourage them.  The truth is we may never know the difficulty or struggle someone else is facing in their own life.  That kindness we show to someone who may be having a "bad day" will certainly lead to something better for them.  And, most likely, they will remember you for your kindness and the spirited uplift you gave them.  This is only one way to love your neighbor.

Let's try to make this world a better place to live.  Blessings!

Sincerely,

Ralph V. Durham, Jr.

"Thank you" A Note from The CHILDREN'S HOME

"Dear Compassion for Others,

Thank you for coming out to the Church of God Children’s Home recently.  You brought not only smiles to our children’s lives but also filled their stomachs with food that they LOVE!  What kid doesn’t love Chick-fil-A and cookies??  And then you out-did yourselves by adding an amazing gift card for each kiddo on campus!!  Wow!!  I know from my own kids how much they appreciate it and how much they are excited to have something that is uniquely theirs and for them to pick out school clothing with, I can only imagine how the other kiddos feel.  You have brought happiness and joy to our campus through your gift of generosity and we want to take this moment to say thank you and ask God to bless you.  We also ask God to meet your greatest need in your life, your families’ lives and in your ministry.  We ask God to give back 10 fold what you have given to our Home.  Again, thank you for your generosity and time.

May God Bless You

Western North Carolina Flood Relief

On September 27, 2024, the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina were devastated by Hurricane Helene.  Many families and communities across WNC were impacted by this one storm.  The destructive power of Helene changed lives forever.  Now, over a year later, small towns and communities are still making efforts to recover.  Please consider uniting with CFO Ministries with a generous gift that will be used to touch the lives and bless those in need.  We all have an ability to make a difference!

As we reach out in the spirit of love to help another in need, we are blessed just by doing so.  CFO Ministries will use every gift received (100%) to help where there are needs.   Your donations to CFO Ministries are tax-deductible.   Please, take a moment to view our FAQ/Activities page and learn more about this ministry.  Thank you for your gifts.
