Western North Carolina Flood Relief
Many towns and areas in the mountains of western North Carolina have been devastated by Hurricane Helene. Hundreds of lives have been lost. Homes and businesses were washed away. The destruction this storm caused and the flooding that resulted has changed lives forever. We now have a great opportunity to reach out and help those in need. When we recognize others are in need our heartfelt response should be to reach out and to offer help. Showing love and kindness to our neighbors will always be our best response.

Life is fragile. Be an inspiration in someone's life today. Let others know you care and share with them the message of hope. This promise makes each day brighter.
Bring Joy
God has shown us His way. Each of us can bring joy into the lives of others by sharing the joy we experience. This joy creates the opportunity for us to make our world a better place. Sharing the Message begins with each of us.

Dear Friends and Neighbors,
We would like to share with you the heart and purpose of this ministry.
Each day we should look for opportunities to brighten someone's day. We can reach out in a variety of ways to lift another's burden or to provide help when we see there is a need before us. You and I may simply show kindness to someone with our smile or by sharing an encouraging word with them. All are acts of showing compassion.
Touching the life of another person is our real purpose for living. May we each realize the positive impacts we all can make in this world. Thank you for giving your time to explore the website.

"Dear Compassion for Others,
Thank you for coming out to the Church of God Children’s Home recently. You brought not only smiles to our children’s lives but also filled their stomachs with food that they LOVE! What kid doesn’t love Chick-fil-A and cookies?? And then you out-did yourselves by adding an amazing gift card for each kiddo on campus!! Wow!! I know from my own kids how much they appreciate it and how much they are excited to have something that is uniquely theirs and for them to pick out school clothing with, I can only imagine how the other kiddos feel. You have brought happiness and joy to our campus through your gift of generosity and we want to take this moment to say thank you and ask God to bless you. We also ask God to meet your greatest need in your life, your families’ lives and in your ministry. We ask God to give back 10 fold what you have given to our Home. Again, thank you for your generosity and time.
